Fine Art Photography

Wikipedia defines fine art photography as:

“photography that is created in accordance with the vision of the artist as a photographer, using photography as a medium to bring something to life that only lives in the artist’s mind.”

I’ve always had a passion for painting and photography. Recently I started to experiment with bringing these two passions together.

I had a vision for some of my photos, wanting them to have more of a painting feel. Working with different filters, I was able to find the style that I had envisioned.

Each one of my fine art photography photos is printed on exhibition canvas satin – an acid-free, polyester/cotton blend 390 gsm canvas. The low gloss surface shows off an expanded tonal range, keeping shadow details while maintaining highlights. Our canvas prints are printed on 1 3/4″ Gallery Wrap and each image is wrapped to the back of the stretcher bar. Staples are not visible.

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grew up.”
